Where can I download the files for the magic mirror?
The Magic Mirror MK1 and MK3 series base on the same idea and plugins. Where the MK2 series is just a wall watch. All three use the raspberry pi as it’s plattform and they are equipped with the open source modular smart mirror platform MagicMirror². Just take the model you want and put it in the shopping cart in our shop. You’ll then get the access to the files by mail.
What can your jane rover do?
The Jane MK1 robot was a robot created during private hackdays as a challange. It also uses a raspberry pi as it’s platform and is equipped with a bunch of sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, thermometer, camera and ultrasonics. It’s functions are:
– Find objects based on Object Detection (actually 90 different objects)
– Voice Assistant to move the rover
– Voice Assistant to answer simple questions
– Autonomous driving without hitting objects or walls
– it has a dashlight
– is equipped with a 20’000mA powerbank
– movement through a bluetooth controller
– etc.
Is jane 3d printed?
Yes, Jane is 3d printed. You can get the files in our shop.
Is your security camera waterproof?
Unfortunately not. The case is 3d printed and not made to get wet as it has holes for your vents or airflow of the raspberry pi inside. You can use it outside as well, but then make sure to have a dry location for it.
does your camera have object detection?
The 3d printed security camera in it’s current configuration doesn’t have object detection. But it’s a nice feature and will be implemented in the next series. This might be useful to use for diverse ideas such as a dash cam for your car or face recognition for your house entrance.
can your submarine be borrowed?
Our Mesoscaph MK1 is still under developement. As soon as it’s finished we’ll keep you informed about the next steps with it.
what are your ongoing projects for 2021-2022?
Our goal is to finish the Mesoscaph MK1. Currently, we’re about to build an FPV drone for sns.network.
Then there’s a big and secret project going on in collaboration between sns.network and sns.industries. We’ll inform you in the nearly future. Subscribe to our newsletter to be informed about it in time.
